						Properties:        
                      Bitter and sweet in flavour, neutral in nature, acting on        
                      the heart channel, liver channel, the lung channel and the        
                      large intestine channel. Owing to its bitterness, it has        
                      the functions of dispersion and purgation, promoting blood        
                      circulation and relieving blood stasis, and strong action        
                      of promoting blood flow to regulate menstruation. It is        
                      usually used to treat dysmenorrhea and amenorrhea caused        
                      by blood stasis, mass in the abdomen, and traumatic        
                      ecchymosis. It is rich of oils which act on the large        
                      intestine channel to lubricate and relax the bowels, hence        
                      it is used to treat constipation, dry colon and body fluid        
                      depletion.

                      pain; For treatment of trauma, swelling and pain caused by          
                      blood stasis, it can be used together with Squama Manitis,          
                      Radix Angelicae Sinensis, Radix et Rhizoma Rhei, and other          
                      drugs having the effects of promoting blood circulation          
                      and relieving blood stasis; For treatment of blood stasis,          
                      mass in the abdomen, it is usually used in combination          
                      with Ramulus Cinnamoni, Radix Paeoniae Rubra, Cortex          
                      Moutan Radicis, and other herbs with the effect of
