Successful TCM Treatment Case

Chang Jiarong, a female, 53 years old

The patient is a local resident of Huaihua city. She was examined in The Third People¨s Hospital of Huiahua one year ago and was diagnosed with lymph cancer on the neck. She treated in The Third Hospital for half a year and ended with no improvement. Then she went to The Tumour Hospital of Hunan Povince. But could not afford the expensive treatment charges, so she came to our hospital.

Ulcer on most part skinny of her neck, and there is yellow liquid and unbearable pain. She is with yellowish complexion. The patient has a weak constitution and has sore pharynx often. No disease history of hepatitis, tuberculosis and other infectious diseases.

Body Examnination:

Normal mental state. Chronic disease complexion and tired expression. There are hard and ulcerous lymph nodes. Painful if press them. No difficulty in breathing.

Preliminary diagnosis:

Chinese medicine: Lymph ulcer on the neck

Western medicine: Lymph cancer on the neck

Treatment strategy:

Quicken the blood and transform stasis; soften hardness and eliminate fullness; strengthening the spleen and reducing phlegm.

There is obvious improvement after taking 20 dosages of herbal tea. Ulcer surface healed and no liquid flow out. Deep reddish tongue body with whitish tongue coating. Feeble pulse. Add some more herbal ingredients to the previous formula and she continues to take it for 20 days. The ulcer complete healed. But the patient feels thirsty and no desire to drink. Reddish tongue body and no tongue coating. This is due to the deficiency of Ying. Prescribe a new formula for another 20 days, which is nourishing Ying and clearing the fire. Completely recovery after finishing the treatment course. No recurrence since then.
