FOREWORD

Qigong Acupressure therapy is an important branch of traditional Chinese medicine which specializes in using breathing and movement exercises to cultivate health and treat diseases. It contains the accumulated knowledge and clinical experience of many dynasties. The therapeutic techniques of qigong acupressure therapy are simple and easy to learn and practise and do not rely on drugs or medical equipment and does not produce side effects. Qigong acupressure therapy can be used to treat many common diseases: hypertension, coronary heart disease, peptic ulcer, diabetes mellitus, neurasthenia, pulmonary fibrosis and neck, shoulder, lower back and leg pains. It also has produced some exciting results with difficult and complicated diseases such as hemiplegia, paraplegia and cancers.

The author of the book began to learn and regularly perform Shaolin internal qigong from his young age; and stemmed from his good spirit to study and work hard and adeptly, he already obtained rich knowledge and experience from clinical practice of qigong acupressure therapy. This book sums up his many years of clinical experience and scientific research, and is an excellent reference manual for healing professionals and amateurs.
